ASUS Presents the World’s First Notebook to Receive Windows® Vista® Premium Logo
The R1F Tablet PC Leads the Way into the New Vista® Computing Era

Fremont, CA:  January 6, 2007 - ASUS’ R1F tablet PC is the world’s first notebook to receive Microsoft’s Vista® x86 Premium logo, bringing new computing and digital entertainment possibilities with the much anticipated Vista® operating system. Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) supports the Microsoft Windows Logo Program for hardware with the Hardware Compatibility Test (HCT) kits, test information, and data for hardware testing and driver signing.  This victory for ASUS is the first but won’t be the last.  The company is working closely with Microsoft® on a complete notebook line offering dynamic computing solutions for a brand new computing experience.

Core™2 Duo R1F Tablet PC Offers Handwritten Input Support with Convertible Screen
The R1F offers wide aspect visual enjoyment while remaining compact for high mobility. The 180-degree convertible LCD screen allows easy presentation and data sharing during meetings or at gatherings.

Handwritten input capability can increase productivity and efficiency. Together with InfoPen software, users can record and edit images or documents as easily as they could on a piece of paper, with color and highlighter options. The DigiPen stylus also has an eraser end and mouse control buttons so that users can navigate a wide range of applications with single-handed ease.

In addition to the R1F tablet PC model, ASUS also offers Mobile TV, Webcam and Slim and Light series notebooks to fulfill the needs of every type of user. ASUS’ mobile TV notebook series delivers theater quality high-definition video and audio enjoyment while the webcam notebook series with built-in high-resolution 240 degree rotational camera ensures total image capturing with wire-free convenience.
