Fremont, CA: January 6, 2007 - The R2H UMPC, created in cooperation with Microsoft, is a brand new form factor mobile computing device – the ultra mobile PC. The R2H gives users everything a notebook offers but is far more portable. It also includes features you would never find in a notebook PC, like GPS. The R2H Keeps Data Secure
The R2H offers three layers of security for your data: biometric
fingerprint authentication, ASUS Security Protect Management
(ASPM) and a Trusted Platform Module. ASPM guards access to
the device and the network while allowing users to enjoy one-time
login convenience. TPM encrypts your data so that it is not viewable
by unauthorized users.
